Terms
Version 1.1 · effective 18 August 2026. This is the current text. Earlier versions remain available on request, and we will tell you before these change.
What changed in this version
- Named the contracting party. Version 1.0 said "we" throughout and never said who: every obligation in it was undertaken by nobody. Every "we" now means Witness the Fitness Private Limited.
- Published the refund policy in full. Version 1.0 gave it one sentence and no amounts. It now states both published refunds and their amounts, what happens to money we are holding when a doctor decides treatment is not appropriate, and what cancelling does.
- Said how a refund actually happens. A person decides it and a person moves the money, and this document no longer leaves a reader to assume that either step is automatic.
1Who these terms are with
1.1These terms are an agreement between you and Witness the Fitness Private Limited, a company incorporated in India. Metaboliq is the name of the service. Witness the Fitness Private Limited is the company that runs it.
1.2In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Witness the Fitness Private Limited. It is the company that takes your payment, holds your personal data, owes you any refund set out below, and answers a complaint about any of the three.
2What you are buying
2.1A health assessment is an assessment. It is not treatment, and paying for it does not entitle you to a prescription. A doctor decides whether treatment is appropriate after reviewing your results, and may decide it is not.
2.2Care programmes are clinically gated. They cannot be purchased before an assessment.
3Medicines
3.1Metaboliq is not a pharmacy and does not sell medicines. Where a clinician prescribes something, a licensed third-party pharmacy sells and dispenses it at their price. We coordinate the prescription, the order and the tracking.
3.2Prescribing, dispensing, shipping and delivery are separate acts by separate parties. We record what each party asserts and never assert on their behalf.
4Refunds and cancellation
4.1There are exactly two refunds on the health assessment, and both exist because home collection can fail. If we cannot arrange sample collection where you live, you may take the assessment back in full at ₹1,799, or you may arrange your own test, keep the doctor consultation at ₹799, and take the difference of ₹1,000.
4.2Those are the only two we publish. We never return more than we actually collected from you: the figures above are what the assessment costs today, and if you paid less than that, you get back what you paid.
4.3Paying does not approve you for treatment, and no refund turns on a doctor's clinical judgement. Where a care programme is bought, your money is held, not taken, until a doctor has approved that programme for you. If the doctor does not approve it, the hold is released and it never becomes a charge.
4.4You may cancel at any time. What that means for money depends on whether we have taken it: money still being held is released and you are never charged, and money already taken for an assessment you have had is not returned, because the two above are the only refunds this company publishes. If you think your situation is one of the two and nobody has offered it to you, say so and a person will look.
4.5A refund here is a recorded obligation of Witness the Fitness Private Limited, not an automatic transaction. Nobody types an amount: every figure is derived from the published price, so a refund cannot drift from the price it refunds. You are given a reference beginning REFUND- to quote. A person decides the request and a person moves the money, and both are recorded by name, with the time.
4.6We do not promise a date on which the money reaches you, because your bank and the payment gateway control that and we do not. We promise a decision, a reference, and a record of who made it and when.
4.7Medicines dispensed by the pharmacy are subject to that pharmacy's returns policy, not ours. We neither sell them nor take them back.
5Your data
5.1We ask for consent per purpose. Consent for clinical care is separate from consent for marketing, and withdrawing one does not withdraw the other.
5.2Withdrawing consent stops the processing it covered. It is not merely recorded — the processing stops.
5.3You may ask for access to your data, correction of it, or erasure. Erasure follows withdrawal of consent.
5.4You must be 18 or over to use this service.
6What we do not promise
6.1We make no claim about how much weight you will lose or how quickly, and there is no outcome guarantee.
6.2No claim is made about curing or undoing any diagnosed condition.
7Complaints
7.1A complaint about clinical care is reviewed by a clinician who was not involved in it.
7.2Every clinician treating you is named, with their registration number, in the app.
