Strength
Strength and the gym
Training is part of the care, not a bonus attached to it.
Before anything is lifted
Training starts when a clinician says so, not when you join
A clinician clears you to train, and that clearance expires and has to be renewed. If you report a symptom on a given day, you are not trained that day even if you were cleared last week.

The boundary
Your trainer is not told why you are here
A gym floor is a shared space and screens get read over shoulders. They do not need any of it to train you safely, and the software does not send it.
What crosses to the gym floor
They are told what to avoid and what to stop for — “no overhead pressing”, “stop if lightheaded”.
What never does
They are not told your diagnosis, what you are taking, or that you are on this programme at all.

Why strength
Why strength, specifically
Losing weight quickly costs muscle as well as fat. Resistance training and enough protein are what keep the loss weighted towards fat, which is why both sit inside the care rather than beside it.
